Biography

I guess you could say it all started at the end of the year in 2009. This was when I received my first DSLR Camera (a Nikon d90) as a Christmas gift. I hate to admit this, but I only used it for a few weeks when I first got it, as I was turned off by all the controls (not realizing the power it possesed). I just wanted my point and shoot camera back. After living in my camera bag for a good six months, it finally came out of hiding and I started to pickup magazines, and books on how to use the camera (a few friends helped me with the terminology and controls too). So we move to the middle of 2010 and I am starting to get used to taking photos, doing some cool tricks and editing in Photoshop. The fun however didn't begin till I got reconnected with the love of my life (who happens to be a super sexy and amazing model) brought out the photographer in me! She would let me take pictures of her all the time for practice, and even let me be the photographer on one of her magazine features! Biggest confidence booster ever!!

It was seriously one day after that happened that I was being offered an intern position as a photographer for picturethiscity.com. So there you have it, that was a brief short story about me, hope you enjoyed it :)

P.S. My current setup to this day is still the same Nikon d90, all though I have a few more lens, filters, and tripods now!
